Angel Tree

Angel Tree is a project, where prisoners can apply to Prison Fellowship to buy and send their children a Christmas gift, on their behalf, arriving ready for Christmas day.

“Christmas is especially difficult for parents in prison and their children. Angel Tree lessens the devastation experienced as a result of parental absence by not only helping families connect and build relationships, but by providing children with much-needed joy”… “The crime a parent commits does not invalidate the very deep love they may have for their children”. Prison Fellowship website

This year’s Angel Tree project is now underway, with our focus being HMP Whitemoor.  We are looking for Churches and small groups to get involved and donate, as well as any individual.

Would you, your church or small group be interested and able to give towards this project by simply clicking the image below.

Donations will go straight to HMP Whitemoor, when you fill out your details and in the box marked “allocation” put HMP Whitemoor.

We will be looking for people to help wrap the gifts on a specific day in December, happening in a March town centre church. Please email info@lovemarch.uk if you’d like to know more.

Thank you, in advance for any donations given, but particularly can I ask you to pray and  remember this project during Christmas. Prison environment can  be a very dark place.  We pray that as this project happens,  HIS light will shine into the darkness and bring some joy this Christmas.
