5th, 2pm – Talk about the angels and special architecture at St Wendredas with afternoon tea. Christmas cards and church merchandise on sale.
12th, 7pm – St Peters Can’t Sing Choir Concert
26th, 10am-12pm – Christmas wreath making at St Wendredas Church Hall, £15. Contact: revruth.marchchurches@outlook.com
22nd, 9.30am-12.30pm – St Peters Christmas Fair
29th, 11.30am – St. Peters Snowman Live performance
30th, 2pm – Seasonal Concert by Newmarket Town Band. Tickets £10, including drink and mince pie in the interval. Available from Alison 01354 651508, Debbie 07951 988901 or Sylvia 01354 653686.
30th, 4pm – Choral Advent Service at St John’s
December
6th, 10am-1.30pm – Christmas Fair & Carol Singing at St. Johns.
7th, 1pm – Christmas lunch at St. Marys.
9th, 2pm – Prisoners Advent Meal and Celebration in the main chapel at Whitemoor. Please be praying for this event!
11th, 10am-12pm – Coffee & Carols (and mince pies) St. Wendredas Hall
12th-14th – Christmas Tree Festival at St. Peters with refreshments, music and trees. Church Open: Friday 12th 12noon-8pm, Saturday 13th 9.30am-5pm, Sunday 14th 12noon-3pm
14th, 10.30-11.30am – FCC Carol Service for people with a learning disability, their carers, family and friends. Scout Hall by Sainsburys.
14th, lunchtime – Carols at Cassano’s, come to sing, eat or drink!
14th, 3pm – Christingle Service at St. Peters.
14th, 4.30pm – Gilbert & Sullivan concert at St. Johns.
14th, 6pm – Carols by Candlelight at Centenary Baptist Church, refreshments afterwards.
16th, 2pm – HMP Whitemoor Carol Service with special guest, Catherine from Prison Fellowship!! Again, please be praying for this event.
17th, 12pm – ‘Blue Christmas’ Food at 12 noon, followed by a short service at 12.30pm led by Revd Lorna Valentine (“Blue” to reflect that short winter days and Christmas can be difficult times). All welcome – please call Sylvia on 01354 653686 if coming for catering numbers.
17th–19th, 5pm-8pm – Winter Wonderland at St. Johns.
21st, 3pm – Carol service at St. Marys.
